YES! I am touching on an issue which may be most sensitive to ladies and maybe guys nowadays. Why are we making such a big fuss over the "age" issue? It is just a number which relate to how long we have been around on earth and that's about it. It is just the same as what we have on our credit cards or prestigious club cards bearing the phrase "member sinced...".
We do not seem to mind the phrase "member sinced..." on our credit cards or club membership cards but we seems to hide our membership with the club call EARTH. Is it not the same? The day we are born into this earth, is it not that we became a member of earth since birth? Then why is it that we feel proud with how long we have been a member of a club membership, which some of us may even flaunt it, but only to hide how long we have been a member of Earth?
Looking at attitude through the Mind - why do we care so much about a number which signify how long we have been with a prestigious club (positively) and a number shows how long we have been around on Earth (negatively)? Both do not mean anything more than just a hyped up number which some under-privileged may not even understand what number is all about. So why waste resources caring for it?
Instead of wasting time on the issue "how long" (referring to "age" and "member sinced"), is it not more worthwhile worrying about how deep and far one has contribute to the club or Earth. We should be very worried or shy and to the extend of hiding the age if we have not contributed anything to Earth, otherwise, we should pass each year happily and with our heads up!
Imagine will one still flaunt the club membership if the club actually gives a star for each contribution on the card when one do not have any star but have been with the club for the longest time.
Therefore, we have to be fair and more significantly be true to ourself - count what we have done and not how long we have been around.
In closing, something to ponder - If we are selecting a person based on experience, would you select one with 21 years of experience or 1 year experience repeated 21 times?
