This is a comment on the above subject matter in response to an article posted by AURUM3 New Tech on September 26th, 2010 on the findings of Mr. Carl Drews, NCAR Researcher. The article reads as follows:-
"Latest research indicated that the winds parted Red Sea, not Moses. National Center for Atmospheric Research and the University of Colorado at Boulder showed through computer simulation that wind can indeed part water. Carl Drews, a software engineer with the NCAR said that there was a bend in the body of water pointing east, and as the water shifted, it separated at the point of the bend, leaving a gap there."
Point One: Of course it is not Moses that parted the Red Sea. It is through the power of God that is bestowed on him that empowered him to do so.
Point Two: There is no doubt that wind was at play, because it is already mentioned in the bible.
Thus, the point of contention herein is that, it is not whether did Moses parted the Red Sea, but why research on a fact that is already stated in the bible (Exodus) of which facts has been and is still continuing to unfold in front of us - the Bible has been right to date!? So did Moses parted the Red Seas, of course not. It is through the power of God he did that. It is a waste of time to even reserch that. The only good that comes out of such time wasting research is that they actually confirm that wind can actually do what the bible claims - which the bible already stated that it is through the power of God that invoked the wind to achieve the objective. Again, who created everything that is on Earth in the first place? Read the Genesis!
So, is this not a waste of time? But why people still do something which is already made known and hinted by God through the bible? The only explanation is people did it out of greed and popularity. The bible is the only book that recveives the widest coverage on Earth, and the best way to gain popularity and drawing attention is to either proof the bible right or wrong. Either way, greed and popularity is achieved.
This link (i can't authenticate it) will shed some light on the evidence of the bible claims:-
